In the third quarter of 2024, the top down games category saw varied performances across the top five apps on a unified platform in Europe. Data from Sensor Tower provides an insightful look into their trends in downloads, revenue, and active users.

Offline Games - No Wifi Games showed a notable decline in weekly downloads, starting from over 1.4M in early July and tapering down to approximately 626K by the end of September. Despite this, it maintained a relatively stable weekly revenue, peaking at around $9.7K in late July before gradually decreasing to $7.5K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users initially increased, reaching over 5.4M in late July, and then saw a slight dip, ending the quarter at about 5.2M.

Block Blast! experienced a consistent rise in weekly downloads, starting at 884K and soaring to 1.8M by the end of September. This growth was mirrored in its active users, which increased from approximately 4.8M to over 6.2M during the same period.

Brawl Stars demonstrated fluctuating trends with weekly revenue, starting at $8.6M and dipping to a low of $4.6M mid-quarter before recovering to around $7.2M by the end. Weekly downloads showed a downward trend, starting from 820K and decreasing to about 534K. Active user numbers also declined from over 51M to approximately 43.5M throughout the quarter.

Hole.io had a steady increase in weekly downloads, moving from 408K to 576K by the end of September. Its weekly revenue remained relatively stable, peaking at approximately $6.9K at the quarter's end. Active users increased from around 1.9M to 2.5M, showing a positive trend.

Lastly, Snake Clash! had a significant drop in downloads, starting at 526K and falling to about 346K. However, it maintained a steady weekly revenue, closing the quarter at $8.2K. Active users grew steadily from 2.1M to over 2.5M by the end of September.
